Tuition

Tuition for both the Basic Curriculum and the Advanced Curriculum are invoiced by quarter. All fees and tuition are due prior to the beginning of classes for each designated period. Please check with us if you need to make any special arrangements. CSPT will accept payment for tuition and fees by cash, check, or major credit card (Visa or Mastercard preferred). If you wish to pay by credit card, you must use the PayPal link above.

Financial aid is available in a variety of forms--federal Title IV grants and loans, private Sallie Mae loans, VA and GI Bill. See the complete Financial Aid pages here. Please be aware that disbursements from any of these sources generally happen after the beginning of classes, and you should be prepared to pay the first quarter's tuition payment, due in mid-August, by whatever means you wish. You are welcome to consult with us on a payment schedule if necessary.

Students will be responsible for purchasing their own books and tools (see Resources) as required or recommended by instructors for each class. Students are asked to purchase the majority of the required tools and books prior to the beginning of the curriculum, and will be expected to purchase the remainder as needed as class involvement requires or instructors recommend them.

The Chicago School for Piano Technology will assist students in setting up accounts with the major piano tool and parts vendors around the country, but will not be responsible for the accounts themselves.
